Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data is processed by MyIPRisk and how the data is used.

Data Processed During a Check

When a check runs, the service processes the request IP address, request headers, user agent, Accept-Language, browser-provided fingerprint signals, WebRTC results, DNS token results, geolocation and ASN lookup results, and proxy/VPN/Tor intelligence results.

These values are used to generate the report displayed to the user and are not saved to a database.

Local Storage

The browser may store the most recent check result and the selected language in localStorage on the user's device. This makes refreshes and language switching smoother.

Users can clear the local result from the page by using the clear button, or by clearing browser site data.

DNS Leak Tokens

DNS leak detection uses a short-lived random token domain. The authoritative DNS service records the token, resolver IP address, query name, query type, and timestamp so the page can show which resolver contacted the test domain.

DNS token logs are intended for short-term diagnostics and should not be used to identify users beyond the current test.

Third-Party Services

The site uses local MaxMind GeoLite2 databases for geolocation and ASN lookup. It also uses proxycheck.io to classify proxy, VPN, Tor, and related network signals.

If advertising is enabled in the future, Google AdSense or other advertising services may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies.
